Bring your team strengths to life.
For organisations wanting to strengthen culture, leadership and performance.
Help your team understand their Character Strengths, build trust and turn organisational values into practical action.
Six conditions for a high-performing team.
These principles are key in elite sport. They apply just as powerfully in the workplace. I use Character Strengths to help teams make each one practical.
1. Psychological Safety and Trust
2. Role Clarity and Ownership
3. Clear Mission and Shared Vision
4. Meaningful Accountability and Standards
5. Masterful Communication
6. Exceptional Coaching and Shared Leadership
High-performing teams don't just have good processes—they intentionally use their character strengths to create trust, clarity, purpose, accountability, communication, and leadership.
The VIA framework provides the language for understanding how each individual contributes to these team qualities.
My approach
Why this approach.
You already have the values. The question is whether people know how to live them.
I use an evidence-based relatable, cross cultural and universally applicable positive psychology framework to turn abstract corporate values into a living, breathing team culture. Exploring your teams’ values and putting these into action brings team behaviour, culture, performance and potential to life.
How I can help you.
I draw on the internationally recognised psychometrically approved VIA Character Strengths framework to translate organisational values into observable behaviours, team conversations and everyday leadership.
I facilitate dialogue, discussion and creative spaces to work effectively with what is and isn't being said out loud in the room. Discover the difference between a team that is compliant and a team that is truly aligned to your culture, mission and values.
Where this takes you.
A team where motivation, engagement and performance can thrive. Self aware, motivated employees aligned to your culture and competency values framework.
An empowered, cohesive, high performing community ready to strive forwards with vision, energy and confidence.
Police leadership programme Case Study
Challenge:
A team supporting 90 participants on a leadership programme preparing for promotion asks, ‘How do we make organisational values meaningful to frontline leaders and supportive in the promotion process?’
Approach:
Drawing on the accessible and universal Character Strengths I designed mapping exercises with the existing College of Policing Competency Values Framework.
Result:
Participants understood the relevance of the Policing CVF to their own everyday motivations, behaviour and leadership whilst gaining confidence for interviewing.
“Fantastic inputs on Values In Action (VIA) utilisation for both team & Frontline Leadership participants. Genius overlay with CVF wheel & VIA symbols; really resonated & demystified the relevance, thank you so much!”
